for Beginners
Beginner Watercolor workshop focus on fundamental techniques, color theory, and basic compositions,
perfect for those who are new to watercolor or looking to build a solid foundation.
I’ll guide you through easy-to-follow demonstrations, simple exercises, and explain essential basic theories in watercolor.
You’ll also learn how to transfer an image onto watercolor paper to help build confidence in your drawing and composition.
Recordings are available after the workshop.

What materials will I need for the workshop?
Participants will need watercolor paper, paints, brushes, and a palette. A full list will be provided upon registration.
Are there any prerequisites for joining the workshop
No prior experience is required for the beginner classes. Basic experience is recommended for Intensive workshop especially for Participants but beginners are welcome to observe the Intensive as well.
How long does each session last
Each session is 3 hours long but could extend 3.5 hours depends on how it goes. The entire workshop spans over 3 days for beginner workshop and 3 weeks (10 days total) for Intensive workshop.
What is your refund policy?
• Cancel by July 25: Full refund (minus $25 admin fee)
• Cancel by August 3: 50% refund (minus $25 admin fee)
• No refunds after August 3 (You will receive recordings)
What if I registered as a Participant but can’t submit work?
You can request to downgrade to Observer by August 3:
• Full-price Participant → refunded the difference
• Early Bird Participant → partial refund to match regular Observer price
What is the maximum class size
To ensure personalized attention, we cap our classes at 15 participants. Observers are unlimited.
Can I join midway through the workshop
To maximize the benefits of the workshop, we recommend joining from the start as each class builds upon the skills learned in the previous session. However, please contact us for possible accommodations. All classes are recorded and available after the workshop.
Can I cancel an Early Bird registration?
No refunds after July 25, but downgrade is available by August 3 for Participant plan
Can I take just one topic? Or observe some and participate in others?
Yes! You can register for just 1, 2, 3, or all 4 topics—and choose whether you want to be a Participant or Observer for each one.
I want to participate but the feedback/review date doesn't work for me. Can I still get feedback on my work somehow?
Yes! I will give personal feedback on your submitted work via email after everything is over. (Most likely in video format)
